Onda V971 doesn't start... DEAD

Today I have been installing some aplications to my Onda V971, after that I have switch off normally, but now I can't power on again, it's totally black, now it is bricked. Totally black, no power on, no pc detection, no nothing is just a fancy chop block.
Would someone please help me out to make this one back to pc detection to flash stock firmware again...? thank you very much, I'm desperate.

I can't install nothing because PC isn't detectting the tablet, I have test the combination with...

Hello!

I recently bought a Onda v802. I was wondering if anybody knows why I can't connect to the google play store or Google in general. Anything with https://. I read it was something to do with the hosts file but is there anything else that causes this issue. Also anybody else buy it or did I get ripped off?

I have the Onda Vi40 1.5Ghz Dual Core 32 Gig (V1A00435)
I cannot get it to load the OS and I can’t put it in “recover mode”
I accidently installed the wrong firmware (specifically) the Onda V971 Dual Core Android 4.1.1_V2.0 Firmware the Process hit 69% and bombed now the Tablet will not boot and I cannot put it in recovery mode
The device will turn on BUT The Android Icon will briefly appear like it is...

Hello everyone,

My Vi40 tablet started acting up strangely. Turned it off last night to recharge, but when I tried to turn it on again it wont boot up...it got stuck on the opening sequence wherein the android bot is bobbing up and down on the onda logo. Frustrated I did a hardreset...pressing the tiny hole with the word "reset". Nothing happened. Still stuck with the opening sequence. I tried a couple of button combination and was lucky to get the back/home+menu+power combination that...

Trivial question: Onda Sleep (animation?)

Another neat thing about the V701s is the animation you get when you hit the power button. I guess technically it's "sleep".

It looks so real, I'm not entirely sure if it's an analogue effect of powering off the screen, or an actual animation.

And if it is an animation, does anyone know how to get to it? Also, did they "borrow" this from another device? I'm just curious!

For those reading this that don't have an Onda (and it may not be on all models) the effect is like powering off an old...

no matter how many different cards that I input, none are recognised.

i have an onda vi30w tablet. 1.5ghz, 1gb ram 8gb internal memory hdmi mini output. i did not turn the tablet for few months and now it does not turn on. charged for few hours but cant get it to start, no lights no signals. can any one please help me revive it and also which buttons do i use in this tablet to put it into recovery mode.

v812 onda tablet apps crashing

Most of my apps all started crashing or force closing today. Fifa 14, dead trigger 2, gta, file manager, file expert, the camera, are a few of the applications that crash when i try to open them. What do i do? I did factory reset and it still crashes and cleared the cache through recovery mode and it does not fix anything.

Onda V975 Retina, brightness problem

Hi All
I have just received my Onda V975 Quad core, Android 4.2.2, Allwinner A31 Quad Core, ARM Cortex A7,1.0GHz CPU, 9.7 Inch 2048*1536 Retina Screen , RAM 2GB+ROM 16GB.
The brightness is not what was expected, even on maximum, intelligent back-light is off.
Any thoughts, advices?

My daughter has a V972 serial V972 QAD1V1B09077. I had constantly problems of it hanging up. Following advice of Onda I upgraded the firmware to V3 following the link on their site. Everything went K, I figured out that the firmware was included in the first link as both point to the same rar file. I live in Canada. Bought this tablet off the net....The Onda tablet is stuck on the white Android in middle of an all black screen... when I plug tablet into USB in my laptop it does nothing and does not seem to recognise it. Onda v972 Not Charging

My v972 was bought in December 2013 for my daughter. It no longer charges - it would appear to me that the mini usb port is broken. Unfortunately the firm i bought it from on ebay has disapeared. Anyone got any sugestions? I have contacted onda but not heard backbfrom them . Presumably if they were to agree to repair it i would have to send it back to China.

Updated 29.01.13

Works on all Onda Tablets including new Quad-Core tablets, for VI40 Ultimate 4.1.1 go to bottom of guide.

New instructions PLEASE read carefully, if you are unsure just post what files you have in the firmware package, which tablet and which firmware it is currently running.

Please note most Onda Tablets come Pre-Rooted, download the file below, it contains Superuser and Root Explorer. Once done open the zip file and put them both on...

Dear all my friends,

I bought onda vi30 v1 tablet ( android version 2.3.4. 16gb. 8' inch screen) . And I rooted it. After rooting I accidentally deleted some files from systems. And my onda tablet was gone. I know very little about technology. In my tablet only a triangle and android robot. Please see the following photos and advice to me what should I do. Thank you all my friends.
